Privacy statement
How Allenby Legal handles information provided through this website.
Information you provide
Allenby Legal may collect contact and matter information you provide by telephone, email or through the website enquiry process. The website form prepares an email in your own email application; the website does not store the form contents.
Why information is used
Information may be used to complete conflict checks, respond to enquiries, consider whether the firm can act, provide legal services after engagement, meet professional obligations and manage the practice.
Do not send sensitive information too early
An enquiry does not create a solicitor-client relationship. Before a conflict check and engagement are confirmed, do not send original documents, passwords, PINs, tax file numbers, banking credentials, credit-card details or money.
Disclosure and storage
Information may be disclosed where required by law or professional obligation, or to service providers used to operate the practice, subject to appropriate controls. Legal files are retained in accordance with professional and legal requirements.
Access, correction and questions
Contact enquiries@allenbylegal.com.au if you wish to ask a privacy question or request access to or correction of personal information held by the firm.
